Illustration meets traditional paper craft.
Seven unique illustrators exhibit modern Hyogu crafts
inspired by theseven classical Japanese colors named
after nature and history .
Hyougu-paper art has for hundreds of years been used
for Japanesetraditional interiors,
including paper lanterns, scrolls, and screens,
Hyougu's adaptable nature--its lightness, eco-friendliness and
resiliance-- suggests an artistic marriage of the future
and the pastof Japanese creative expression.
All works will be on sale.
