「TEDxGlobisU」オンライン開催を決定

TEDxイベントはこれまで、参加者が実会場に集まり、スピーカーによるトークショーやワークショップを実施してきました。しかし、現在、新型コロナウイルス（COVID-19）が社会に大きな影響を及ぼしていることを受け、TEDxGlobisUは感染拡大を防ぐため、オンラインでの開催を選択しました。

TEDxGlobisUは、米国ニューヨーク州に本部がある TED より正式に運営許可をいただき、開催に向けて準備を進めています。グロービス経営大学院で初開催となる TEDx が、日本国内でもまだ事例の少ないオンラインで開催され、過去最大規模の参加者数を動員できることをスタッフ一同心より楽しみにしております。

現在、全世界のTEDx関係者が一丸となり、オンライン形式で、新たなTEDx体験を参加者に届けることができるよう模索しています。 「価値あるアイデアを広げる」という理念の下、今だからこそ発信すべきアイデアがあると信じています。

TEDxGlobisUとは

グロービス経営大学院の在校生・卒業生を中心とした有志は、2019年11月、世界各国で大規模講演会を開催する非営利団体「TED」（本部：米国・ニューヨーク）から正式ライセンスを取得し、TEDの地域コミュニティー「TEDxGlobisU」を発足しました。当日は、グロービス経営大学院の在校生・卒業生を始め、複数のスピーカーが講演するイベントの開催を予定しています。

グロービス経営大学院とは

グロービス経営大学院は2006年開学。2006年開学当初78名だった大学院本科入学者数は、2020年4月には日本語プログラム（通学・オンライン）で1095名に達し、日本最大のビジネススクールに成長しています。

【Announcement: TEDxGlobisU Shift to Online 】

TEDxGlobisU, which will be held in Sunday, September 20, 2020 have been decided to shift to online due to the circumstance of COVID-19.

TEDx event had been organized by gathering participants at the actual venue and holding talkshow and worksop by speakers. However, now that COVID-19 is having a great impact on our society, TEDxGlobisU has chosen to hold it online.

TEDxGlobisU is officially licensed by TED, headquartered in New York, USA, and is preparing for the event coming in September now. We, the member of TEDxglobisU, look forward to the TEDx, which will be held for the first time at GLOBIS Graduate School of Management, to be able to mobilize the largest number of participants ever, by holding it online in Japan, which has few cases.

Today, TEDx stakeholders around the world are working together to find a new TEDx experience for participants in an online event format. We believe that there are ideas that should be sent out now under the philosophy of “Ideas worth spreading”.

What is TEDxGlobisU?

Volunteers, mainly students and alumni of GLOBIS Graduate School of Management, acquired an official license in November 2019 from the non-profit organization "TED" (Headquarters: New York, USA) that holds large-scale lectures around the world, and launched TED's local community "TEDxGlobisU".
On the day of the event, we,TEDxGlobisU, plan to hold an event in which several speakers, including current students and alumni of the GLOBIS School of Management, will speak.
